I saw this car the other day. It's an orphan and no one wants it at the dealer. Asking price 240k. Brand new.

Drop a zero off that asking price and I'll take it.

So much crack pipe I just died.
52 miles is still very much 'new'.

Well then. I guess I won't buy it. (I really wanted it though, he even started it up for me!!)

240k?!? I think I know why no one wants it...

First off, it's a DBS.
Secondly, go buy an actual DB9 for 70K

WOAH! No wonder! That's like 40k more than what it's worth!

I want to know who set that price.
200k-220k was MSRP, even with Aston options a new one wouldn't crack 250k.
Being new is irrelevant when its now a old model with a successor on sale already, luxury doesn't hold value.
If this was an Aventador or 458, it can ask for MSRP and still get it. Its just an Aston.
Someone doesn't understand the "How to price luxury cars" game.

CP. I saw a 2011 (I think) recently that was otherwise identical for almost $100k less.

Wait hold up this is a DBS. My bad the MSRP on this car is 320k.

Now we are in reasonable price territory, being a DBS and all.

Much better.

For real. You could get a brand new 458 for that, can't you? Maybe they're hoping for a lotto winning, high-school drop out bieber wannabe to roll onto the lot?

Or get a DB7 v12 for 30k, and use the rest to maintain it for like 5 years.
